Have you ever thought, “I don’t have time to do marketing.” If you have, try this idea.
You are the only one in your office, running a business from you home, or maybe you are just your only employee. You do bookkeeping, taxes, promotion, pay bills and many other tedious and day to day chores.
Next time you are short on time and want to try to reach out to a segment or a new company, consider inviting your prospect to lunch, on you of course.
Try to keep in mind some etiquette. Talk business after the food gets to the table. Stop talking business after the bill is paid. Call and thank them the next day for meeting with you.
He or she will appreciate the invitation, and you always eat at least once a day right?
