Recently I was in the market for a new sofa and love seat. I wanted a matching set and was looking to spend around $1,000. In my quest for the perfect set my wife and I went into nearly every furniture store we could find.
At the end of the two weekends full of furniture it was all starting to look the same, and all of the sales people who helped us were beginning to look the same in my mind. I couldn’t remember going to a certain store, nor could I remember any sales people, except one.
She was a lady that worked at one of the biggest stores we went in to. I remember her specifically because her name was on the card, and her picture was on the business card as well.
Her face being on her business card made it very easy for me to remember who she was. In addition to that, she wrote the price of the furniture we liked on the back of her business card.
Not only was her card memorable because it had a picture, but it was very important for us to keep it because it had the proof of the sale price she was offering to us.
Try that next time to increase customer loyalty and make a memorable shopping experience for your customers.
