Are billboards horrible advertising? I normally think so.
Other people think billboards are a great form of advertising.
Let’s see, $800 for a month could be used substantially in other areas. Imagine a company that has a $3000 a month advertising budget. With 3 billboards, that eats up over 3/4ths of their monthly advertising budget.
The return is extrememly difficult to track (if not impossible), and the commitments can be long term, up to a year.
I’d love to hear some comments on who uses billboards, and why!
